The Stockholm International Team Race Regatta, the biggest event of the year for Gamla Stans Yacht Sällskap (GSYS) will take place between the 23rd and 26 May, in the beautiful capital Stockholm close to the Royal Palace as well as Kastellholmen.
The popular J/80 regatta this year attracts teams from New York Yacht Club, Royal Thames Yacht Club, Bayerischer Yacht-Club, Annapolis Yacht Club, and GSYS.
The regatta is a proof of the fantastic sailing opportunities that the Swedish capital offers together with unique social opportunities. The first day, Thursday 23rd, you can watch the training sessions by coming for a coffee at Beckholmen, Djurgården. On Friday 24th to Sunday 26th the race starts at 10 am and can best be seen from the Stadsgården quay, close to Fotografiska, or at Kastellholmen.
