Swedish sailing athlete and part of the national team, representing Gamla Stans Yacht sällskap, GSYS.

Born in Norrköping and early on introduced to the sport of sailing in the archipelago outside of Arkösund, it wasn’t given that sailing would be the chosen path to go down.

After several turns of trying out many different sports, the choice eventually fell on sailing and specifically ILCA as a discipline.

Looking back at a successful career as a youth sailor, Wilhelm eventually graduated from the National Sports Institute for Sailing and Triathlon in Motala, before embarking on a campaign towards the Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The goal is firmly set, now it’s all about making every day count.
